With Matthew 25:36, “…I was sick and you cared for me…” as our inspiration and guiding principal, over 100 volunteers and more than 20 area churches work together to match people of faith with those who need help. If you would like to help your neighbors, please consider becoming a part of Health and Hope Medical Outreach. While many of our volunteers are medical professionals, it might surprise you to know that most are not. An endeavor like a free medical clinic requires a wide range of skills and many hours of work to supplement care providers.
Our Volunteers

Our outreach would not be possible without the volunteer help necessary to keep our doors open every week. Over one hundred volunteers and more than twenty churches have worked together to provide free, quality urgent medical care and referral services. Not only are patients able to have their health concerns addressed, but the men and women of faith who lend their time and talents are able to offer care and kindness to their neighbors, reflecting the goodness and love of God.
The HHMO volunteers have put in more than 42,000 hours since we opened in 2013. The services provided by HHMO cover a broad spectrum of needs. It may be as simple as going to the local store to get some groceries or taking the time to pray with a client. Others may require not only care for their physical health but mental or spiritual health, as well. If there is a need for housing or counseling, we find a way to provide connections to those who can fulfill those needs. Our desire is to treat the whole person, and the volunteers at HHMO are dedicated to that goal for each and every patient who walks through the door.
Volunteer Testimonials
Where do we go from here?
We seek to target those who need services and expand the base of our volunteers. Our goal is to deliver medical services to 20 patients each Tuesday. Because this is a work of caring individuals with a desire to help, the attention and care each patient receives is extraordinary. Patients regularly report that the caregivers at the clinic have been the most gracious and helpful that they have ever encountered in a medical clinic. For every patient we serve, we support an entire family by providing them with the health to pursue their goals in other areas of their lives. Our vision is to reach the remote areas of the region and to help churches meet the needs of those they serve.
